Neuropathology

Neurogenomic, neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders

Developmental and adult neuropathology

We investigate those mechanisms that trigger molecular, cellular and behavioral changes in different models of neuropsychiatric pathologies.

We study the degeneration and protection of the dopaminergic system (including Parkinson’s disease), the effect of chronic stress in intrauterine and postnatal stages of development, Alzheimer’s disease and drug addiction.
